NEC confirmed the triple signing on Tuesday with Sleegers signing a deal until 2018, while Woudenberg and Ritzmaier will spend the season at the club on loan.
Sleegers, a twenty-one year-old attacking midfielder, was named as the best young player in the Eerste Divisie last season after scoring 13 goals in 33 games on loan with fc Eindhoven, but he does not feature in Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s plans at Feyenoord.
Woudenberg, a 21-year-old left back, has made two appearances for the Feyenoord first team since 2012, while spendingĀ a season on loan with Excelsior in 2013. With Terence Kongolo and Miquel Nelom ahead of him in the pecking order at De Kuip, Woudenberg has been allowed to leave to gain first team football.
Austrian midfielder Marcel Ritzmaier has mainly been a reserve for Phillip Cocu’s side over the past season, making only eight appearances for the first team. The 22-year-old made a great impression on loan with Cambuur in 2013 and Ritzmaier will be hoping to regain his form in Nijmegen.
All three will go into coach Ernest Faber’s squad for this Friday’s tie with Willem II.
