Relegation-threatened NEC Nijmegen have sacked coach Peter Hyballa after a poor run of results.

NEC have lost their last seven matches in a row and the poor 1-0 defeat at home to Excelsior on Saturday left the club sitting 17th with only two games left.
Hyballa has now been relieved of his duties with the club holding the German responsible for the poor run of form. Hyballa took over from Ernest Faber in the summer but he has only been able to lead his side to seven victories.
NEC host AZ Alkmaar in two weeks before wrapping up the regular season at Heerenveen.
