When FIFA last released their rankings early in March Netherlands had climbed up to 21st but the defeats to Bulgaria and Italy have plunged Oranje to 32nd. The lowest ranking in Dutch football history.

Oranje now find themselves behind the likes of Iran, Northern Ireland, Ecuador and Hungary in the rankings, which may have consequences for future draws for World Cups and European Championships.

Brazil climb above Argentina into the top spot, while Germany, Chile and Colombia round out the top five.
