The KNVB have announced that the Oranje will face Greece and Italy in two friendlies during the 2016/17 season.

blind sneijDanny Blinds side will host Greece in the Philips Stadion on September 1st. They will then welcome Italy to the Amsterdam Arena on March 28th.

The game with Greece will take place five days before Netherlands begin their World Cup qualifying campaign with an away game against Sweden.

The KNVB also announced today that the Amsterdam Arena will no longer be the sole stadium to host Netherlands games. Feyenoord’s De Kuip and PSV’s Phillip Stadion will be used for Oranje matches from now on as well.
