Next month Netherland will play two friendly matches to spell the end of Dick Advocaat’s spell in charge of the national team. A match in Scotland on the 9th of November was already announced last week, but the KNVB have also confirmed the national team will travel to Romania five days later.

Despite their failure to reach the World Cup, Netherlands returned to the top 20 in the World Rankings last week and will be hoping for a positive end to the year before a new coach starts preparing for Euro 202o.
