After the failure to reach the World Cup, Netherlands will play two friendly matches this November which will mark the end of Dick Advocaat’s latest spell in charge.

The first of the two opponents has now been announced with Oranje heading to Aberdeen on the 9th of November to face Scotland, who also narrowly missed out on a place in the World Cup playoffs. The match will kick-off at 7.45pm.

The last time the two nations met was back in 2009 with Eljero Elia netting the only goal in a 1-0 win during the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
