The Dutch, who will be led by Guus Hiddink for the qualifiers were the first nation to be picked, and found themselves in Group A. They were then joined by Kazakhstan, Iceland, Turkey, and finally Czech Republic in what could be a tricky group.
Holland faced Turkey in the recent qualifiers for the World Cup, and won both ties home and away 2-0, but the the nation coached by Fatih Terim have a number of high quality players, and will prove a challenge.
Iceland last faced Netherlands in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers, with the Dutch winning both games, but the game has extra meaning with Icelandic internationals Alfred Finnbogason, Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, and Johan Gudmundsson all playing in the Eredivisie.
Netherlands have a good record against both Czech Republic and Latvia having beat the two nations in their previous meetings.
The top two nations will qualify for the tournament in 2016, with the third placed side going into the play-offs.
