Bart Verbruggen 6/10: Didn’t have much to do throughout the game and couldn’t prevent the goal.
Denzel Dumfries 7.5/10: A constant threat up top he created chances and almost scored himself too. Remains a major weapon under Xavi.
Micky van de Ven 5/10: He is not a left-back and once again looked uncomfortable in the position. A problem position for Xavi going forward.
Jan Paul van Hecke 6/10: Has had a difficult start to the season with Tottenham but looked decent alongside Van Dijk.
Virgil van Dijk 6/10: Scored a perfectly good goal that was disallowed. He did get beaten for pace at times at the back.
Quinten Timber 6/10: Was a surprise inclusion in the line-up and he performed relatively well in the first half but he got away with a rash challenge on Havertz.
Ryan Gravenberch 6/10: Not a commanding performance from the Liverpool midfielder, who has had a dip in form at club level.
Tijjani Reijnders 6/10: Played as a 10 and showed some good moments but also some sloppy ones too.
Crysencio Summerville 6.5/10: After the World Cup there is higher expectations of the winger and he didn’t light up the ArenA, but showed some dangerous moments. Could have scored with a header.
Cody Gakpo 7/10: Missed a great chance in the first half but then was clinical in the 92nd minute to secure a point.
Brian Brobbey 6/10: Battled well early on but then went off with a muscle injury after half an hour.
Substitutes
Mexx Meerdink 7/10: Got a lot of chances in the second half but found Ter Stegen and the post in his way. When he did net, the Netherlands were denied for the second time by the officials. He needs to be more clinical.
Joey Veerman 7/10: Back in Oranje, Veerman created chances and proved he is definitely of worth to Xavi going forward.
Ruben van Bommel N/A: An incredible assist but only on for 10 minutes. A very promising start.
Guus Til N/A: Only on for 10 minutes and should have scored the winner late on.
