oranje 1Netherlands will participate in next summers World Cup in Brazil after an almost flawless qualification campaign.

Here is all the important numbers:

1) Position Netherlands finished in Group D, ahead of Romania, Turkey and Hungary.

2) The number of points dropped by Netherlands throughout the whole qualifying campaign. Only Germany matched this.

4) Assists by Jeremain Lens, the most of any Dutch player in the campaign.

5) Goals conceded in all ten games, Only Spain, Belgium and England conceded less.

6) Number of clean sheets kept in the ten games

8-1) Biggest win of the campaign against Hungary

10) Number of World Cups that Netherlands have now qualified for in their history.

11) Number of goals scored by Robin van Persie through the campaign, the highest in Europe.

12) The number of players that played their first World Cup qualifiers for Netherlands during this campaign. Van Gaal has handed out 19 debuts in total in his second period in charge.

18) Number of yellow cards handed to Dutch stars.

28) Number of points Netherlands achieved in their ten matches, only two away from the perfect thirty.

+29) Netherlands final goal difference, the highest in Europe.

36) Number of different players used by Louis van Gaal throughout the campaign with PSV winger Memphis Depay the last.

41) Number of goals now scored by Robin van Persie, with his hat-trick against Hungary taking him past Patrick Kluiverts record of 40, and becoming all time leading scorer.

60.4%) Average possession which Netherlands had throughout the match. They dominated possession in all but one game, the away win over Turkey.

126) Number of minutes played by Dirk Kuyt in the ten games, but no goals scored by the forward.

774) Minutes that Kevin Strootman played of the whole qualifying campaign, the most of any Dutch player. Jeremain Lens was second, and Robin van Persie third.

34) Number of goals scored by the Dutch through the qualification campaign. Only Germany with 36 scored more.
