Netherlands were 24th when the last rankings were released but the 4-1 win over Belarus and the 1-0 defeat against France recently have resulted in the Oranje moving up to 20th place. Its a big improvement for Danny Blind’s side who were at an all time low of 26th back in July.
Argentina remain at the top of the rankings, with Germany 2nd, Brazil 3rd, Belgium 4th and Colombia in fifth. Chile, France, Uruguay, Portugal and Spain round off the top ten.
Netherlands are next in action on November 9th when they face Belgium in a friendly before facing Luxembourg four days later in a World Cup qualifier.
