Louis van Gaal has named his preliminary squad for Netherlands upcoming friendlies with Colombia and Japan.

Included in the squad are PSG right back Gregory van der Wiel, and PSV Eindhoven’s exciting young winger Memphis Depay, who made his Netherlands debut against Turkey earlier this month.
Not included are Newcastle United’s goalkeeper Tim Krul, Fulham stopper Maarten Stekelenburg or Celtic’s in form defender Virgil van Dijk, who impressed in the Champions League win against Ajax.
However, Van Gaal has shown in the past that his preliminary squads can be changed before he names the final group early next month.
