Aron Winter has named his 18-man Netherlands squad for the U19 European Championships.

The European Championships gets underway next week in Germany with Netherlands facing Croatia, England, and France in the group stage.
Today, coach Aron Winter finalised his 18-man squad, with the likes of Ajax midfielder Abdelhak Nouri, PSV winger Steven Bergwijn and ADO Den Haag forward Dennis van der Heijden all included. The most noticeable absentee’s are Ajax duo Frankie de Jong and Donny van de Beek, who are currently with their club’s first team at their training camp in Austria.

Hidde ter Avest (FC Twente), Steven Bergwijn (PSV), Jurich Carolina (PSV), Gino Dekker (Ajax), Laros Duarte (PSV), Carel Eiting (Ajax), Dennis van der Heijden (ADO Den Haag), Sam Lammers (PSV), Julian Lelieveld (Vitesse), Abdelhak Nouri (Ajax), Yanick van Osch (PSV), Kenneth Paal (PSV), Maarten Paes (N.E.C.), Pablo Rosario (Almere City FC), Jari Schuurman (Willem II), Calvin Verdonk (PEC Zwolle), Michel Vlap (SC Heerenveen) and Deyovaisio Zeefuik (Ajax).
Netherlands begin their tournament against Croatia on July 12th. The top two from each group progress to the knock-out round and the U20 World Cup, which takes place next year.
