wc 2014Qualification looks a certainty for Louis van Gaal’s men, but they can make it certain with victory over Andorra, coupled with Romania being unable to pick up three points against Turkey. Even if Romania win they will be six points behind, with two games left, and Netherlands superior goal difference making it almost impossible.

Three other European nations can also qualify tonight, with Italy’s place secure if they see off the Czech Republic, while Germany can seal their passage if they beat Faroe Islands, and Sweden fail to win in Kazakhstan.

Switzerland are the final nation that can book their place, but they need to beat Norway, and hope that Iceland can only draw against Albania. Due to kick off times, its the Netherlands that would be first to qualify from Europe if all results go their way.

Brazil, Australia, Iran, Japan, and South Korea are the only nations definitely featuring next summer, while qualification in each of the other continents is coming to an end. Can the Dutch book their place tonight?
