The KNVB has announced that the Netherlands will clash with Mexico in the Johan Cruijff ArenA on October 7th.

Netherlands will clash with Bosnia and Herzegovina (October 11th) and Italy (October 14th) in the Nations League but they were looking for another game in preparation.

The KNVB confirmed on Monday that the Netherlands will face Mexico in Amsterdam on the 7th of October. It is hoped that fans will be able to attend the game but this information will be confirmed at a later date.

The Netherlands have met Mexico on eight occasions, winning four times, while Mexico has triumphed in three games. The most famous clash was during the 2014 World Cup knockout rounds when Klaas-Jan Huntelaar’s late penalty won the game for Oranje.
