Netherlands U17’s beat Italy u17’s 2-0 on Sunday to make it two wins from two in the three nation tournament in Germany.

Kees van Wonderen’s side started the tournament with a 4-0 win over Israel on Friday and they once again put in a good performance on Sunday to see off Italy.

After a goalless first half which saw both sides pass up great chances, Netherlands took the lead after the break through Toshio Lake, who tapped in at the back post after a Pherai cross.

Liam van Gelderen then sealed the Oranje win with a nice finish from a corner. Netherlands face hosts Germany on Tuesday in the tournament’s final match.
