The first round of qualifying for the 2017 U19 European Championships takes place in October and Maarten Stekelenburg has named his Netherlands squad.

The first round of qualifying sees Netherlands host the group which includes Norway, Romania and San Marino. All the ties will be played between the sixth and eleventh of October.
The selection for the matches is as follows
Goalkeepers: Justin Bijlow (Feyenoord), Maarten Paes (N.E.C. Nijmegen)
Defenders: Matthijs de Ligt (Ajax), Jurich Carolina (PSV), Sherel Floranus (Sparta Rotterdam), Rick van Drongelen (Sparta Rotterdam), Deyovaisio Zeefuik (Ajax), Owen Wijndal (AZ)
Midfielders: Dani de Wit (Ajax), Rodney Kongolo (Manchester City), Teun Bijleveld (AZ), Teun Koopmeiners (AZ), Odysseus Velanas (FC Utrecht)
Attackers: Tahith Chong (Manchester United), Javairo Dilrosun (Manchester City), Jelle Duin (AZ), Kaj Sierhuis (Ajax), Mitchell van Bergen (Vitesse)
