Netherlands U21 coach Adrie Koster has announced his 23 man squad for this months European Championship play-off matches against Portugal.

u21 sbsnethFor a place in next summers European Championships Netherlands U21’s will host Portugal on the 9th of October before the second leg five days later.

Captain Marco van Ginkel has been ruled out through injury, while Feyenoord duo Tonny Vilhena, and Jean Paul Boetius have been dropped after starting the season out of form. PSV striker Jurgen Locadia and Twente midfielder Hakim Ziyech also miss out.

PSV midfielder Adam Maher, Twente striker Luc Castaignos and Heerenveen star Daley Sinkgraven are all included, while Heracles forward Wout Weghorst could be in line for his first cap.
