Erwin van de Looi was once again in charge after missing the 7-0 win over Belarus last week due to his duties with the Netherlands national team. He made three changes with Deyovaisio Zeefuik, Javairô Dilrosun and Sven Botman coming in for Justin Hoogma, Jordan Teze and Noa Lang.
Netherlands were on top of possession and came close to taking the lead just before the break with Myron Boadu hitting the bar with a header.
After the break, Ryan Gravenberch fired just wide but then Norway began to create chances with Jens Petter Hauge putting an effort just off target.
Noa Lang then came on for Javairo Dilrosun, and the Ajax winger broke the deadlock with eight minutes to go. He fired in a Dani de Wit cross at the back post.
Boadu then settled the game by netting Netherlands second on the counter attack. Norway almost came back into the game but Aron Dönnum’s strike hit the post.
Netherlands continue their perfect start to European Championship qualifying with their 6th win out of six games. They sit six points ahead of Portugal, who have a game in hand.
