Netherlands conceded a last second equaliser as they were held to a 3-3 draw in their final game of the Tournoi de France.

With two wins, France were already crowned the friendly tournament’s champion, while Netherlands were looking for a first win after two draws.

After half an hour, FC Twente defender Lynn Wilms opened the scoring with a close range finish. Soon afterwards, Netherlands were awarded a penalty for a foul on Lieke Martens and Sherida Spitse made it 2-0.

Valerie Gauvin pulled one back just before the break and it was 2-2 just before the hour as Griedge Mbock Bathy netted a penalty awarded for a handball by Spitse.

Martens restored Netherlands lead with a lovely finish and it seemed that was going to be the winning goal. However, in the 93rd minute, Ouleymata Sarr made it 3-3.

With three draws, Netherlands finishes second to France.
