The draw for the 2019 Women’s World Cup was made on Saturday with Netherlands learning their group.

Netherlands were drawn alongside New Zealand, Cameroon and Canada for the tournament which takes place between the 7th of June and the 7th of July in France.

Netherlands came up against both New Zealand and Canada in their only World Cup appearance so far in 2015. They lost 1-0 to New Zealand and drew with Canada. However, Netherlands women have improved significantly since then and go into the tournament as defending European Champions.

The top two from each group progresses to the knockout rounds.
