Netherlands women have made it four wins out of four in Euro 2021 qualifying after a 2-0 victory over Russia.

It was a special evening for Danielle van de Donk, who earned her 100th cap for the Lionesses. In the 12th minute, the midfielder marked it with a goal to put Netherlands in front.
It remained that way for a while which gave Russia some confidence but Sari van Veenendaal remained unbeaten in Netherlands goal.
Netherlands had the perfect opportunity to make it 2-0 before the break when Lineth Beerensteyn was brought down. However, Sherida Spitse saw her penalty kept out by the Russian goalkeeper.
After an hour, Netherlands did make it 2-0 through Vivianne Miedema’s header. She then burst into tears in tribute to her Grandfather who sadly passed away recently.
Netherlands remained comfortable until the end and sealed their fourth win in the group which keeps them comfortably top and six points clear of Slovenia.
