kusknfj“This was my third game in the Twente shirt,” he told Twente’s official website. “I notice that the interaction with the team is getting better. Though the Netherlands and Denmark are not much different from each other, it is always hard when you get accustomed to a new environment. During training and races, I think we are getting used to playing together as a team.”

Speaking on Twente’s friendly against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday:  “I’ve been in the stadium twice, not only while playing a match. Of course I hope to play in such a big stadium often, but the first game in your own stadium is something special. There you can as a player look forward to the season. Additionally you can perform for a home crowd.”

Twenty-two-year-old Kusk joined Twente from Danish club Aalborg BK for a fee around €670.000. He enjoyed a fantastic season, scording 12 times and assisting a further 11 goals from a right midfield position. He has been capped seven times for the senior Denmark side.
