Heerenveen have decided not to offer Cameron Borthwick-Jackson a contract after a trial period.

The 22-year-old defender has spent over a week training with the Heerenveen squad and appeared in two friendlies.
However, Borthwick-Jackson has not made a big enough impression to earn a contract.
It’s a blow for the Manchester United youngster, who was handed his debut at the Premier League giants by Louis van Gaal. His career has gone downhill since then with a series of failed loan moves. He still has one year left on his contract at Old Trafford.
