According to RTV Rijnmond Manchester United are not interested in signing Feyenoord defender Stefan de Vrij.

Manchester United have been linked heavily with De Vrij since the defender’s showing in the World Cup, and Louis van Gaal was expected to make a bid for the 22-year-old.
However according to RTV Rijnmond, Lazio are still the only club to be interested in De Vrij, while Manchester United are not going to try and sign him this summer.
According to reports in Italy on Saturday, Lazio were close to meeting the asking price of €9 million for De Vrij, with the Serie A club upping their offer to €8 million.
Another club said to be interested in the Dutch centre back is Southampton, who are managed by former Feyenoord coach Ronald Koeman, but they are also yet to make any contact with the Rotterdam side.
In the meantime De Vrij is set to line up for Feyenoord this week as they face Besiktas in a Champions League qualifier.
