henrik az bilbaoReports from Italy last week suggested Napoli were to offer €5 million for the Norwegian international this January. However AZ director Max Huiberts has stated that although he is aware of the interest in his star player, no club have yet come forward with a serious bid.

He told VI, “No one has come forward to me last week,”

“Basically we do not want to lose Markus this winter. The situation may change but that is our approach.

However Huiberts admitted that he understands why Henriksen is looking at other clubs, but believes he will stay until the summer.

He added, “He is targeting next summer, I can understand. Mark is in his fourth season with AZ and his contract runs until 2017. Normally, that would be a good time for a nice transfer. “
