According to Sky Sports, three English Championship sides are interested in signing NAC Breda striker Sydney van Hooijdonk.

The son of Pierre van Hooijdonk is having a great season with NAC Breda in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, scoring eight times in 12 games, while also contributing two assists.

The 20-year-old was heavily linked with a departure during the last transfer window, but signed a new one-year deal. Now with that contract set to expire in six months, interested clubs are starting to queue up.

According to Sky Sports, Nottingham Forest, Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday are all interested in bringing the powerful forward to England.

Nottingham Forest would be special for Sydney with his father playing for the club during his career.
