Bartholomew Ogbeche continued his fine form on Saturday as Willem II saw off Heracles 3-1 in Tilburg.

Ogbeche netted a hat-trick in the draw at VVV Venlo last weekend and he looked full of confidence from the start on Saturday evening, firing a shot just wide in the first minute.

A few minute later the opening goal did come but it was Fran Sol who brilliantly finished off Ben Rienstra’s cross to put Willem II ahead.

An excellent start for Willem II got even better on 13 minutes when Ogbeche headed in Thom Haye’s cross to make it 2-0. The striker then put the game to bed eight minutes later, finishing well after being set up by Sol.

Willem II remained in control for the rest of the game but Heracles pulled one back in the 86th minute through Sebastian Jakubiak, which proved nothing but a consolation.

The victory puts Willem II into 14th place while Heracles sit 9th.
