According to Voetbal International, French side OGC Nice are seriously interested in signing Wesley Sneijder.

The Ligue 1 side have already made contact with Sneijder’s agent Guido Albers as they look to seal a speedy deal for the 33-year-old. If he accepts the move to France, then a deal could be completed in time for Sneijder to face Ajax in the second leg of their Champions League qualifier next week.

Sneijder has been without a club since dissolving his contract at Galatasaray. He was heavily linked with a move to Utrecht, but his wage demands were far too high for the Eredivisie side. Clubs from the MLS, Russia and China are also interested in the midfielder.
