Justin Kluivert has had an excellent season which has seen him cement his place in the Ajax first team and earn a call-up to the Netherlands squad.
Big clubs are already starting to circle for the 18-year-old, who is yet to sign a contract extension in Amsterdam. Manchester United have been credited with serious interest, but Justin’s father Patrick hopes he decides to join Barcelona when he leaves Ajax.
Patrick told Omnisport, “I’m very proud of him. He’s doing very well at Ajax.
“He is now a first eleven player. If he’s playing like this in the long-term, he could be one important player in the future.
“Of course, I prefer that he goes to Barcelona but in football everything can happen.
“He’s an adult, he can make his own decisions but he’s already said it’s a dream for him to play for Barcelona. But you never know in football.”
