Utrecht are in pole position to reach the Eredivisie European play-off final after holding PEC Zwolle to a 0-0 draw in the first leg of their tie.

Utrecht had won the two league meetings between the sides this season, and they had the better chances in a dour match but couldn’t find a way past Kevin Begois.
Substitute Ruud Boymans came the closest to breaking the deadlock late on but he curled a shot just past the post.
Utrecht now go into the second leg on Sunday as favourites, but they may be without midfielder Bart Ramselaar who injured himself after colliding with Begois. The injury could rule the youngster out of the Netherlands squad for their friendlies later this month.
