saymak aThe home side dominated from the kick off, camping in RKC’s half, but found the woodwork in their way on three seperate occasions.

Darryl Lachman headed onto the bar from a corner, before Fred Benson hit the post when one on one with Seda, and finally Giovanni Hiwat smacked the bar with a great effort from just outside the box.

RKC had their first real chance on 35 minutes, when Aurelien Joachim raced down the right hand side, before seeing his strong shot tipped just over by Diederik Boer.

The deadlock was finally broken with the last kick of the first half, as Mustafa Saymak flicked the ball into the top corner after a cross from the right.

Five minutes into the second half RKC were level, with Joachim finishing nicely from a cross by Damiano Schet, who did well down the left hand side.

PEC Zwolle pushed for a winner, but were frustrated by excellent defending from RKC, who nearly nicked the win in the 90th minute, but Boer denied Andersen.

A precious point for RKC in their battle at the bottom, and they move up one place to 16th on goal difference, while Zwolle remain 6th.
