For the first time since the end of October, PEC Zwolle have won a home game, downing NEC 2-0.

The visitors begun the game well with Mickey van der Hart denying a dangerous header from Wojciech Golla and shots from Jordan Larsson and Dario Dumic. Larsson also opted to shoot wide just before half time instead of passing to an unmarked Jay-Roy Grot. The best chance of the first half fell for the hosts though as Queensy Menig saw his effort come back of the post.

However, after 57 minutes it was PEC Zwolle who took the lead with Nicolai Brock-Madsen making it four goals in five games, with a nice finish past Joris Delle.

Mohamed Rayhi came close to an equaliser with a strike that came back off the bar. The home side then sealed the victory on 72 minutes when DumicĀ failed to clear a cross which allowed Menig to steal the ball and lash a shot into the roof of the net.

PEC Zwolle rise to 12th while NEC stay tenth after their 3rd defeat in a row.
