PEC Zwolle stopped a run of five straight away matches without a win by beating ADO Den Haag 2-0.

adopec nA tepid first half in the Hague ended with a bang as Rick Dekker sent a lovely volley into the top corner from the edge of the box to put PEC Zwolle in front.

After the break ADO Den Haag went in search for an equaliser and after Mike Havenaar went close coach Henk Fraser turned to his bench to send on 18-year-old super-sub Dennis van der Heijden, who netted twice on his debut last week. The forward nearly made an instant impact, heading onto the crossbar before sending the follow up against the post.

On the break PEC Zwolle remained dangerous and after Queensy Menig missed one-on-one with Martin Hansen, Lars Veldwijk sealed victory in injury time with a measured first time finish at the back post.

PEC Zwolle now move up to seventh, while ADO Den Haag remain 11th.
