According to the Stentor Sunday, PEC Zwolle have rejected an offer from AZ Alkmaar for central defender Philippe Sandler.

AZ reportedly offered €2 million for the highly-rated defender, but PEC Zwolle have rejected the offer as they hope to keep their squad intact for the second half of the season.
The 20-year-old has broken into the PEC Zwolle first team this season and has played a major role in the club’s rise to fourth in the table. Sandler has a contract with the club until 2019 and is in talks over a renewal.
It is not ruled out that AZ return with a higher offer for the Netherlands U21 international, but for now Sandler remains in Overijssel.
