The 21-year-old has been with Ajax since 2003, and worked his way up the youth ranks before making his first team debut in 2010. Since then Lukoki has made 24 league appearances for the Amsterdam side, scoring five goals.
Last season Lukoki was sent on loan to Cambuur, and the winger impressed many as he helped the club avoid relegation, scoring twice in 32 appearances.
On his return to Ajax it has been clear that Lukoki was not in the plans of coach Frank de Boer, and he has been allowed to leave for PEC Zwolle, after an undisclosed fee was agreed.
Speaking to PEC Zwolle’s official site, Lukoki talked of his excitement to work with coach Ron Jans, “I think Ron Jans can help in my development. He has worked with great wingers like Luciano Narsingh, Oussama Assaidi and Youness Mokhtar. I hope he can do the same with me.”
PEC Zwolle open up the Eredivisie season against Utrecht on Friday, and Lukoki could make his debut for the club.
