PEC Zwolle have confirmed the signing of Den Bosch centre-back Sam Kersten.

The 21-year-old signed a three-year deal with PEC Zwolle on Wednesday after they agreed an undisclosed fee with Den Bosch.
Speaking to the PEC Zwolle website, Kersten said, “When PEC Zwolle reported, I was immediately enthusiastic. The club has already shown with players such as Gustavo Hamer, Zian Flemming and Kenneth Paal that good performance in the First Division can be rewarded. Xavier Mous is another good example of this. Now that I have also made the move to the Eredivisie, it is time to show that I can stand my ground here too. That’s why I go for it. “
Kersten made 77 appearances for Den Bosch after coming through the club’s academy.
