PEC Zwolle has confirmed the signing of winger Virgil Misidjan after he had his contract with  FC Nürnberg terminated.

PEC Zwolle were looking to bring in a forward this month and they have reached that target with Misidjan. He has signed a short-term deal until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old started his career with Willem II but left in 2013 for Ludogorets. He then made the move to Nurnberg five years later. Now he is back in the Eredivisie.

Misidjan told the club’s website, “When I heard through my agent that PEC Zwolle showed interest in me, the ball started rolling quickly.

“I think only two things are important at the moment and that is being important for the team and showing myself. For every newcomer he must first prove himself in the training sessions. I do my best for the first moment. “
