Bosz watched his side dominate possession on Wednesday but fail to impose themselves on Manchester United, who took their chances to lift the trophy.

Bosz told the press afterwards, ”We were not good enough today. We did not create many chances during the game. I think our best chance came towards the end of the game when David Neres had the chance to lob Sergio Romero.

”We congratulate Manchester United on their victory. For many of my players, tonight was their first final. In order to win finals you must play them and learn from them and all my players that played today they would have learnt a lot.”
