The 53-year-old has signed a two-year deal in Dortmund. He spoke of his excitement to take charge at Borussia Dortmund, and also thanked the Ajax fans for their support during his year-long spell in charge.
Bosz said, ”I am proud that I will be able to work for this club. One of the top 10 clubs in the whole of Europe.
”My first meeting with Hans-Joachim Watzke and Michael Zorc convinced me that this was the best step for me. The meeting lasted around 3 hours.
”Borussia Dortmund is a super club and I want to look forward to the future. I had a fantastic time at Ajax with great players. At the beginning, it was difficult at Ajax but after that we achieved great things together.
”I do not feel that I have let down Ajax. I was only there for one season when Borussia Dortmund came calling.
”I want to thank the Ajax fans as I really enjoyed my time there. I believe that we built something special not just in terms of results but also playing good football. I just want to look forward and focus on the fantastic opportunity that I have here at Borussia Dortmund.”
