After Koeman announced last week that he will not renew his contract at De Kuip, and will leave the club in the summer, speculation has been rife on who will take over. Co Adriaanse, and Louis van Gaal have been mentioned, but it seems Vitesse coach Bosz is the favourite.
Speaking to Omroep Gelderland, Bosz refused to comment on the speculation, insisting he is only thinking of finishing the season with Vitesse.
He said, “That’s not appropriate and it is not respectful. That’s why I also said nothing Friday when I was sitting next to Ronald during the press conference. I now work at Vitesse, and get paid here. No, I’m saying nothing at all.
Bosz is a former Feyenoord player, and was technical director at the club for three years, never hiding his love for the club in interviews. The speculation over him taking over has widened with De Telegraaf reporting that Bosz has a clause in his contract that will allow him to leave Vitesse in the summer, if he is offered another job.
