Cocu lauded the way his team attacked and how they have come back from their disappointment of getting knocked out of the Europa League by Croatian side Osijek.
He said, ”We have reacted really well since getting knocked out of Europe by Osijek. We have shown that there is still chemistry there between the team and backroom staff.
”I thought we were very eager today and showed that we were determined to work as a team and we played good attacking football today. We knew that NAC Breda have qualities and I must say that they have a few technically gifted players too.
”We rarely have a match where we blow the opponent away and that the opponent creates nothing but we are slowly improving and making progress. We still have a way to go but winning games away from home and scoring goals is a good sign.
”We still have to grow during the season and we need all players on board to be able to do this and today we have made a step forward.
”In terms of transfer window. There is currently no interest in Jeroen Zoet although that could well change day to day with clubs suffering injuries. With the transfer window still being open everything is possible. I hope nothing happens and I do not expect anything to happen neither.
”We want to keep our current squad together and also add another defender and we hope that happens. It’s always difficult to judge but we also have to be aware that something may happen with striker Luuk de Jong leaving PSV Eindhoven.”
