Cocu stated that he does not believe their season is over and Champions League qualification is still possible if they can beat Ajax next week.
He said, ”We can only blame ourselves for the fact that we did not pick up 3 points here tonight. We had chances to made it 2-0. We also knew that ADO Den Haag would take risks given their predicament.
”I believe that certain characteristics have defined our season in an organisation sense. We create chances but we have not been able to finish games in terms of being decisive and obtaining victories.
”Our season is not over yet because we still have to play Ajax and we must do everything we can to win that game. We do not have to talk about a title. We have to try finish as high up the league as possible and catch the team that is in front of us although we are dependent on what Ajax do at home to Heerenveen before we play them in Eindhoven.
”Also the game against Ajax is about prestige and we must win.”
