PSV Eindhoven have to win on Tuesday in the Philips Stadion if they are to clinch third place in their group and achieve Europa League qualification.
Cocu said on the game, ”I am convinced that FK Rostov will not be looking at what other clubs do in the Netherlands. We have to find a balance of avoiding going behind but also pushing forward and trying to score a goal. It will be an interesting game.
”If before the game we start to think about not making the Europa League and that it would, therefore be a disappointment then we might as well stay at home.
”This is a game where we will have to take risks whether it is a draw or we fall behind at some point in the game. The players are prepared for all scenarios and also that we may have to switch tactics during the match.
”We will fight for the victory against FK Rostov and that is our attitude towards the game and there will be no negative thoughts within the squad beforehand.”
