martins indi asnaThe newspaper believes that after tough negotiations between the two clubs last week a fee of €8.5 million was eventually agreed to take Bruno Martins Indi to Portugal.

The 22-year-old, who can play both centrally or on the left of defence was born in Portugal, but represents Netherlands at international level, and is currently starring at the World Cup. Personal terms are yet to be agreed, but that should be settled when the defender returns from Brazil.

Martins Indi made his debut for Feyenoord in 2010, and has since gone on to make 102 appearances in the Eredivisie, netting five times in the process.

It is unlikely that Feyenoord will sign a replacement for Martins Indi, with Terence Kongolo, Miquel Nelom, and Luke Woudenberg all capable of replacing him in defence.
