Young Dutch centre-back Sepp van den Berg has completed his loan move from Liverpool to Preston North End.

The former PEC Zwolle defender has only made four first-team appearances in cup games since joining Liverpool back in 2019.
Van den Berg has spent this season with the club’s U23 side despite their injury issues. He now gets the chance to impress while on loan with Preston North End in the English Championship.
The 20-year-old told the Preston website, “I’m looking forward to it. I’m happy I’m here. I’m happy hopefully I can play a lot of games, I hopefully can achieve something good this season so I’m really looking forward to the season.
“I’ve had a look around and everything looks good. The people that I’ve met have been really nice to me so I’m really looking forward and the facilities are good so hopefully I can develop here very well.”
