Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Davy Propper has dropped out of the Netherlands squad after picking up an injury.

The 27-year-old limped off near the end of Brighton’s 1-0 victory over West Ham United on Friday with a foot injury and has now been forced to drop out of the Netherlands squad.

Propper started for Netherlands in their last fixture against France but will now miss the ties with Germany and Belgium next week.

Ronald Koeman will not pick a replacement for the midfielder and continues with a 24-man squad.
