Sam Lammers is leaving PSV Eindhoven for Atalanta Bergamo after a €10 million offer was accepted.

According to Eindhovens Dagblad, Lammers will travel to Italy on Friday in order to complete the move to Atalanta.

PSV Eindhoven tried to convince Lammers to stay this summer, but the 23-year-old set his sights on leaving after Atalanta’s interest. A bid of €10 million which includes bonuses has been accepted by PSV, while 10% of that goes to Heerenveen.

Lammers played 29 times for PSV, scoring six times, but his time in Eindhoven has been blighted by injury. He spent a season on loan with Heerenveen during the 2018/19 campaign.

PSV will now look to sign 33-year-old Iranian striker Eran Zahavi as Lammers replacement.
