PSV Eindhoven have agreed a deal with Valencia to sign on loan midfielder Andres Guardado on a permanent deal.

The 28-year-old has impressed in Eindhoven after signing on loan, and the club and player himself have made no secret that they wanted to make the deal permanent. Today PSV announced through their website that a deal had been agreed with Valencia, believed to be €3 million.
PSV already have a contract waiting for Guardado to sign when he gets back from international duties, which will tie him to the club for the next three years.
Managing director Marcel Brands told the PSV site, “We are happy that he will join PSV on a permanent deal after a successful loan spell,”
“Andrés is a point of reference for PSV and the Eredivisie in general. We hope to be able to enjoy him as a PSV player in the years’ to come.”
Guardado has made 29 appearances this season, scoring once.
