According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Ajax and PSV Eindhoven have both failed with bids for Torino centre-back Lycano.

PSV Eindhoven have been linked with the Brazilian for weeks as they look for a successor to Daniel Schwaab.

A bid of €15 million was submitted by PSV but that was rejected and Torino are asking for more than the Dutch club are willing to pay.

Di Marzio adds that Ajax have also had a €20 million bid rejected for the centre-back, along with AS Roma and Zenit st Petersburg. Torino are hoping to convince the defender to sign a new deal.
