The forward joined Hamburg from Kashiwa Reysol in 2015 and signed a three-year deal. He has since made 26 appearances in the club’s first team, scoring once and giving seven assists.
This season he has so far been a bit part player, making seven appearances, and with his contract ending in the summer, a move away from Germany may be on the cards.
Reports in Japan are claiming that PSV are among the clubs monitoring the 20-year-old, along with Manchester City, Internazionale, Benfica, Torino, Schalke 04, Eintracht Frankfurt, VfL Wolfsburg and Red Bull Salzburg.
